Green Light GREENLIGHT The Green Advantage Newsletter

It is a pleasure to present to you this quarter’s issue of “GreenLight.”

As you’ll see in many of these articles, practitioners across the country are using their Green Advantage Certification in a variety of creative ways. GA credentials are showing up on web sites and in marketing materials, on LEED Innovation Credit applications, and on successful resumes. Green Advantage practitioners are elevating the standards of organizations across the country and influencing corporate cultures to embrace energy efficiency and sustainable design.

Each issue of GreenLight will provide up to date information on green energy options. This month we’ve included a very informative article explaining how renewable energy credits can help you and your customers reduce or eliminate a building’s energy requirements. Also, there’s a piece on the latest solar thermal energy technology for domestic hot water and radiant heating.

I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Delaware Valley Green Building Council. DVGBC, our major authorized commercial training provider, recently accepted an award from the US Green Building Council for their Green Advantage training program, and has been named a USBGC “Educational Provider.” Green Advantage will continue to offer both public and private Exam preparation workshops taught by these highly qualified trainers.

Finally, we want to hear from you. We’d like to showcase your “Green Projects,” publish your “GreenTips,” and hear how to make your Green Advantage authorized training experiences and the Certification credential more valuable to you. Let us know how we can make 2008 and the years ahead greener, both environmentally and financially.

Sincerely,

Grady O'Rear
